A instalação leva cerca de 1 hora com ferramentas manuais básicas, feita no chão da sua garagem ou entrada de casa. Mais rápido se você tiver um elevador automotivo. Pode ser necessário fazer cortes para adaptar a carroceria/cabine com entre-eixos mais curto. Talvez seja preciso reutilizar algumas peças originais de fábrica.
Requer reprogramação (tuner): A remoção do DPF, CAT, SCR e/ou DOC envolve a remoção e eliminação de sensores relacionados às emissões. Um reprogramador (tuner) compatível com a remoção do DPF é necessário para evitar que a luz de verificação do motor ou códigos de falha de diagnóstico sejam acionados.
Benefícios: Espere um aumento significativo na economia de combustível. Se o seu DPF estiver obstruído, provavelmente você está fazendo uma média de 13 a 14 mpg (milhas por galão). Mais ou menos, dependendo da gravidade da obstrução. Após a remoção do DPF/CAT, espere obter uma média de consumo de combustível de 18 a 19 mpg.

Great fit and easy installation. Just what I needed to get my 350z running smoothly!
I was a little skeptical at first about going with a smaller brand, but then I reminded myself that at the end of the day, it’s a downpipe. After receiving it, I was honestly impressed with the quality. The catless downpipe looks great, even though once it’s installed you’ll never really see it.
It arrived quickly, was packaged extremely well, and the installation was pretty straightforward. I didn’t run into much trouble during the install. I replaced the upper seal and the V-band clamp while I was in there, but honestly both of the original parts probably would have been perfectly fine to reuse.
One tip: make sure you install the O2 sensors in the same positions as they were on the factory pipe.
Overall, I’m really glad I bought this downpipe and I would absolutely buy it again. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to make their F10 catless. I even took a few side-by-side photos next to the factory catalytic converter for comparison.
If you’re on the fence about it, just buy it—you won’t regret it.
I also loaded the MHD Tuning Stage 2+ tune at the same time so I wouldn’t have a check engine light, along with a few other supporting upgrades.
