When i redid the 58 chevy nomad wagon back seat I installed these on each outboard seat when I reinstalled the seat. They rarely got used and the buckles ended up under the seat. Recently while my sister in law was visiting we went out for ice cream. Afterwards we we going to go for a cruise to see the sunset. When we got in the brother in law and I buckled up and my sister in law pulled out her belt to realize there was no female end. My wife laughed and said oh you don’t need that back here. However i told her the belt was under the seat and i could get it. She immediately reached in and pulled it out to buckle up. My wife then belted up as well. They both told me how nice the belts were afterwards.
