Perfect belt does not tighten up

The wife asked if I could add shoulder belts to the back seat of the 1970 Pontiac for when the kids are back there. I found these and mounted the retractor on top of the package shelf and the male end on the floor near the center. The work great with the booster seat. Wife also they work great for her she loved they dont tighten till you have a quick stop
