Esta placa é feita de aço inoxidável 304 de 1,5 mm cortado a laser e tem o mesmo formato do tubo de conexão do EGR. Ela foi retificada [uma máquina grande e barulhenta cheia de pedras de plástico] para torná-la lisa e obter uma superfície abrasiva para obter uma melhor vedação e remover quaisquer arestas ásperas ou afiadas.
Ela proporciona uma partida mais limpa em rotações mais baixas porque impede que os gases de escape sejam reciclados, especialmente se estiverem sujos ou emperrados.
A placa se encaixa entre o cabeçote do cilindro e o tubo que vai para o alojamento da válvula EGR

good part but miss-aligned mounting tabs

This kit installed just fine, except for the two mounting tabs and the flared end. We had to bend the the tabs to fit. It was a pain in the ass because there is very little room to maneuver here. The flared end was a bit of a challenge as well where the pipe meets to boot for the intercooler input. I was concerned about the tightness of the boot so I made a slight mod to fix that and used 2 band clamps. It would have bee better if the pipe was flared and then had at least 1 inch of straight on the end of it. All in all, it is now working fine.

Idle Surge Fixed!

Purchased to replace and delete my broken IACV and worked a treat. No more idle bounce, revs nice and happy and looks pretty good too.

Side note for the manufacturer; Different anodised colours would be a very cool addition in the future.
