I purchased an after market transfer case actuator for a 2004 Tundra from JCParts. An OEM version from Toyota is insanely expensive. I had purchased 3 different similar after market parts from other suppliers. All were faulty and were returned. The JCParts purchase worked no problem. Thank you JCParts!
This part ended up working, but the gears inside were too big and had to be adapt to fit my vehicle. Definitely a better deal at 1/3 of the price of OEM but be prepared for minor modifications
Saving myself a ton of money compared to taking it to the dealer or garage, I suggest you guys try it, it's worth it.
The actuator arrived intact. Fit like the original. Installed on a 2006 Tacoma with 1000 miles works perfect.
