Uitlaatspruitstukken optimaliseren de luchtstroom ten opzichte van het prestatieverminderende uitlaatspruitstuk dat standaard in uw auto zit.
2. Uitlaatspruitstukken voorzien elke cilinder van een eigen mini-uitlaatpijp, waardoor interferentie tussen de cilinders wordt voorkomen en de tegendruk die in conventionele uitlaatspruitstukken optreedt, wordt weggenomen. Doordat de cilinders niet met elkaar hoeven te concurreren om hun uitlaatgassen af te voeren, kunnen ze meer vermogen naar de wielen overbrengen en het voertuig vooruit duwen. Took 14 hrs to make it fit the application it said it was built to fit thankfully I own a bender and specialty tools to do some exhaust work. I do exhaust to make a living among other repairs and I’m here to say the one that says it fits the Tahoe took massive time to clearance correctly to make safe and rattle free and I was missing hardware. I had no invoice I. My box to even know if they sent me the right part but it sure didn’t seem like it was. The exhaust donuts include were about 1/4” ID TO SMALL or the flange at the header was too big I have donuts around my shop so I figured it out for them and was disappointed, i got order confirmation instantly but didn’t get tracking info until 2-3 days later because i asked for it they sent it to me the same day it showed up at my doorstep which I felt like. Wasn’t the best business habit to be in but hey. I had to bend the hell out of both headers that were otherwise beautiful in 3 different spots one spot on each main piece
drivers header at the steer column due to not wanting a fire made of my intermediate shaft insulator boot. Noticed it was gonna be close but thought well maybe jcarpart has this down I’ll tighten it up and it may clear but if it doesn’t it won’t be much air gap. No it was zero air gap it was pressing the boot of the column so I knew that’s need help to fit
Pas header at the top of the frame roll at the outermost tube. It was hitting so hard that I couldn’t physically get the header gasket to seal at the head but it looked insignificant at best during assembly I thought shoot that looks like it’s barely hitting I wonder if it’ll even vibrate. It was deceiving how much that pipe was wrong for a Tahoe. And the collector requires clamp directly at the y pipe that the clamp itself physically wouldn’t fit between so I made a gap so the clamp could do its job. Idk what all hardware I was supposed to get but I got clamps and gaskets that’s it
I want a refund
The header fit almost perfectly. The only issue I had was the last bolt closest to the firewall did not line up 100%. I ended up just using a smaller bolt with a washer and a nut to get it firmly secured. Other than that it looks and sounds amazing!
