Good replacement for the original part

Overall the fit, finish and size of the replacement part very closely match the original part. The replacement part is molded out of a material that is softer than the original. As a result, the part I received was slightly compressed such that when I first installed the tray there was a gap of about a tenth of an inch along one side. I simply removed the tray and stretched the tray by hand a few times. When I reinstalled it, it fit very nicely. It looks great, only time will tell if it holds up like the original. At this point I’m completely satisfied and would purchase again.

BMW Armrest Storage - Excellent Replacement

This part is discontinued by BMW, and a replacement through JCar Part is currently available. The part is a exact replacement, installs easily and appears identical to the original BMW part. I have 2 E39 and have purcahsed tow and highly recommend this part !
