Installasjonen tar omtrent 1 time med enkle håndverktøy utført på bakken i innkjørselen eller garasjen. Raskere hvis du har en løfteanordning i bilstil. Det kan være nødvendig å kutte for å passe til konfigurasjoner med kortere akselavstand på lasteplan/førerhus. Du må kanskje bruke noe av fabrikkutstyret på nytt.
Tuner kreves: Fjerning av DPF, CAT, SCR og/eller DOC innebærer fjerning og eliminering av utslippsrelaterte sensorer. En tuner med DPF-sletting er nødvendig for å forhindre at motorlamper eller diagnostiske feilkoder aktiveres.
Fordeler: Forvent en betydelig økning i drivstofforbruket. Hvis DPF-en din er tett, har du sannsynligvis et gjennomsnitt på rundt 13–14 mpg. Mer eller mindre avhengig av hvor alvorlig begrensningen er. Etter at du har slettet DPF/CAT, kan du forvente en kombinert kjørelengde på 18–19 mpg.

Great fit and easy installation. Just what I needed to get my 350z running smoothly!
I was a little skeptical at first about going with a smaller brand, but then I reminded myself that at the end of the day, it’s a downpipe. After receiving it, I was honestly impressed with the quality. The catless downpipe looks great, even though once it’s installed you’ll never really see it.
It arrived quickly, was packaged extremely well, and the installation was pretty straightforward. I didn’t run into much trouble during the install. I replaced the upper seal and the V-band clamp while I was in there, but honestly both of the original parts probably would have been perfectly fine to reuse.
One tip: make sure you install the O2 sensors in the same positions as they were on the factory pipe.
Overall, I’m really glad I bought this downpipe and I would absolutely buy it again. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to make their F10 catless. I even took a few side-by-side photos next to the factory catalytic converter for comparison.
If you’re on the fence about it, just buy it—you won’t regret it.
I also loaded the MHD Tuning Stage 2+ tune at the same time so I wouldn’t have a check engine light, along with a few other supporting upgrades.
