Installed this generic cooling system kit on a 2018 Jaguar XE S with the AJ126 3.0L Supercharged V6. The kit includes key components:

Water pump (LR092992)

Thermostat assembly (AJ812132)

Coolant outlet pipe (C2D20660) Fitment & Installation:
All components were dimensionally accurate with proper mating surfaces and sensor ports. The thermostat housing had a clean casting, and the O-ring seals were of acceptable quality. Water pump impeller was composite (plastic), not metal, but matched OE spec. Bolt patterns and clearances were spot on — no trimming or retrofitting required.

Performance:
Post-install, system pressure tested to spec with no leaks at cold or hot temps. Engine reached operating temperature within normal curve, and thermostat response time was consistent with OEM behavior. Verified via OBD-II coolant temp monitoring during road test under load — held steady around 90–92°C.

Observations:
Housing and pump gaskets were slightly thinner than OEM, but no sealing issues. Recommend light RTV bead at junctions as a precaution.

Hoses in the kit were unbranded but reinforced. Clamp quality was decent; we opted to reuse OEM spring clamps for better sealing.

Supercharger and intake manifold must be removed for full access — so this is a time-intensive install (4–6 hrs). Do it once, do it right.

Recommendation:
This kit is a cost-effective solution for preemptive cooling system service or when replacing the water pump due to bearing noise or coolant seepage. While it's not OE-branded (no Mahle or Behr markings), the components are well-made and suitable for daily driving applications.

Ideal for independent shops or DIYers looking to maintain performance without the dealership premium. Just pair it with the correct HOAT coolant (Jaguar STJLR.651.500 spec) and perform a thorough bleed of the system using vacuum fill or bleed screw method.
