2009-2013 Corvette w/LS3 LS7 Engine 92mm Throttle Body 12605109

I have a 1993 GMC Sierra 4X4 regular cab pickup with a 5.7 litre engine. I have had issues with it running rich. I did not have a check engine light and my fuel mileage had gradually decreased to about 7 MPG. I first rebuilt my original throttle body with a locally sourced kit that included new injectors. I replaced everything in my ignition system with the exception of a new distributor. I replaced all of my sensors except for the idle air valve and the throttle position sensor. I took my truck to the local GMC dealership for diagnostics. Due to the age, they did not have a "technician" nor the equipment to troubleshoot it. They called in an old retired mechanic that they use on older vehicles and he had his own old school diagnostic equipment but was unable to locate the issue. I paid the fee for diagnostics and picked up my vehicle. After a lot of thought, I decided to replace the throttls body as that was about the only thing I had left to replace that would cause the rich combustion. I was unable to locate an available remanufactured throttle bode from any parts store and GMPARTS.com no longer carried them. I found these on Amazon and was very reluctant about ordering such an important component manufactured in an unknown origin. Let me tell you, that was a worry I never should have had. I installed the throttle body as soon as I could. It fit perfectly, came with a new idle air valve amd throttle position sensor already installed. I disconnected my battery and drained all residual voltage to allow the computer to relearn the sensors.At first startup I let my truck sit and idle until it reached normal operating temperature. as soon as I drove it I noticed that my power was back. The truck was running better than it ever did (I bought it in 2009 and had the engine rebuilt in 2010) It was ot bogging down under load, it no longer was (cutting out) while the throttle was being depressed, my fuel miliage increased by at least 5 MPG, and it is a pleasure to drive. Installation was straight forward, just plug and play. The firt and finish is perfect and it is excellent value for your money. You will not find a better unit for that price. So far I have hd no issues and it has been a very durable and reliable component. Shipping was very fast and as expected. Thank you for an excellent deal.
