1.Eliminating the EGR system will prevent soot from building up and clogging the EGR valve. Instead of hot exhaust gas being re-routed into the intake, fresh dense clean air can now circulate. Improved exhaust flow allows the turbocharger to spool up faster which results in quicker throttle response.
2.This EGR delete is engineered and designed to recirculate engine coolant faster and more efficiently then the stock EGR system. High quality components consist of billet aluminum construction, nickel plated steel flanges, stainless steel dipstick tube bracket, high temp silicone hoses, zinc coated hardware & precision fit o-rings.
3.The downpipe on your turbocharged vehicle is directing the exhaust gases out of the turbine housing into the exhaust system. An aftermarket downpipe will typically be larger in diameter and either uses a high-flowing catalytic converter or remove the catalytic converter altogether.
4.By removing the factory downpipe and replacing it with a high flowing unit you are allowing the turbo to more efficiently move gases away from the turbine which creates more power. Since the factory restrictions are now gone you can increase the boost on the vehicle as the factory downpipe is a choking point for performance.
