Funktion:
1. Fjernelse af EGR-systemet forhindrer sod i at ophobe sig og tilstoppe EGR-ventilen. I stedet for at varm udstødningsgas omdirigeres til indsugningen, kan frisk, tæt, ren luft nu cirkulere. 2. Denne EGR-ventil er konstrueret og designet til at recirkulere motorens kølevæske hurtigere og mere effektivt end det originale EGR-system. 3. Downpipe-udløbsrøret på dit turboladede køretøj leder udstødningsgasserne ud af turbinehuset og ind i udstødningssystemet. Et eftermarkedsdownpipe vil typisk have en større diameter og enten bruge en højflowkatalysator eller fjerne katalysatoren helt.
4. Ved at fjerne det fabriksmonterede downpipe og erstatte det med et højflow-aggregat, giver du turboen mulighed for mere effektivt at flytte gasser væk fra turbinen, hvilket skaber mere kraft. Da fabriksrestriktionerne nu er væk, kan du øge køretøjets boost, da det fabriksmonterede downpipe er et kvælningspunkt for ydeevne.

2013 BMW 535ix F10 - 3.5” Turbo Catless Downpipe

I was a little skeptical at first about going with a smaller brand, but then I reminded myself that at the end of the day, it’s a downpipe. After receiving it, I was honestly impressed with the quality. The catless downpipe looks great, even though once it’s installed you’ll never really see it.

It arrived quickly, was packaged extremely well, and the installation was pretty straightforward. I didn’t run into much trouble during the install. I replaced the upper seal and the V-band clamp while I was in there, but honestly both of the original parts probably would have been perfectly fine to reuse.

One tip: make sure you install the O2 sensors in the same positions as they were on the factory pipe.

Overall, I’m really glad I bought this downpipe and I would absolutely buy it again. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to make their F10 catless. I even took a few side-by-side photos next to the factory catalytic converter for comparison.

If you’re on the fence about it, just buy it—you won’t regret it.

I also loaded the MHD Tuning Stage 2+ tune at the same time so I wouldn’t have a check engine light, along with a few other supporting upgrades.
